I’m a Flash developer belonging to KAYAC Inc. in Kamakura.

KAYAC is a very unique company which sends new, interesting projects out into the world.

Some of the services we made are Wonderfl in which you can build Flash online, the plant that writes a blog named “Midori-san”(we use Flash Lite installed in Chumby) and YUREX that is device that measures knee jiggling when you are irritated, or nervous (Adobe AIR is used) and more…

My recent client work is here that used FLARTookKit & Papervision3D.

I was very stimulated by the cool Japanese Flash projects presented at the FITC, so I myself would like to challenge broadcasting to the world, in English.

I am also a professional photographer, musician, and have been programming for nearly 30 years now, from Commodore PETs, Tandy TRS-80s, Commodore 64s, Apple ][s, The second Mac, Japanese PCs, MIPS workstations, then back to the Macintoshs (IIci, Quadras, etc.) and Windows too. Mainly a Mac-guy – as I am mainly a designer – but have been a ADC member for 15 yrs, and MSDN member for ten.
The other guys are much more talented and should rather be writing for ‘JActionSuperGods.com’, but I am the old school, try-to-get-away-with-a-sloppy-code AS3.0 learner. Don’t tell me my code sucks. I KNOW ;D
I will try to give some nice ideas, show some work-in-progress stuff, and also give some information about the Japanese market in this weblog.

Let me introduce my company, METAL RED here a bit.
We mainly plan and direct web and non-web promotions, but as I used to be in the print business, we do print too. International customers are always welcome !
We are building lots of promotion sites and schemes for top companies, such as KDDI (one of the top cellular brands in Japan), SQUARE ENIX (yeah, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and more), SONY, etc.
 
BTW I lived in New York for ten years in my childhood, so my english is better than my ActionScript, and also I used to work for a company in Osaka, maker of games such as RXXXdent EXil and StrXXt FigXXer. Thus, I just love making games or interfaces that have cool or fun gimmicks as in a game, with Flash.

Personally, I want to introduce top-quality analog methods (graphic, video, and sound) to be intergrated with top-notch programming – and enhance the quality of the Japanese creative community.
I hope this site assists you in understanding that, the Japanese ActionScript community ROCKS HELL !!

I’m both flash and iPhone designer / developer.
Some people know me as a guy who worked under Yugo Nakamura, or other people may remember be as an developer of iPhone app called QuadCamera and ToyCamera. One is my flash side and the other is my iPhone side. Just a month before, I quit tha.jp and became an freelance designer . Then I started this project!
